Turkesterone Guide

What Is Turkesterone?

Turkesterone is an extract from a plant called Leuzea or Maral Root that looks similar to a thistle plant. Ecdysteroid, a hormonal steroid, is found in the plant. Ecdysteroids can be compared to testosterone because of their ability to induce growth. But, ecdysteroids do not bind to androgen receptors, while testosterone does. Therefore, Ecdysteroids do not cause any steroidal side effects like gynecomastia or hair loss.

Turkesterone seems to be the most anabolic out of all ecdysteroids.

What Does Turkesterone Do?

Turkesterone enhances muscle repair and growth by increasing muscle protein synthesis by optimizing the mRNA translation process and promoting leucine uptake into muscle cells. Due to this effect, a positive nitrogen balance is attained, also preventing muscle breakdown.
