Blackstone Labs Prohormones Review: I Tried Each One!

Have you been wondering which Blackstone Labs prohormone you should take? Or contiplating on taking Blackstone Labs vs another company such as Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals? Well I did the research and I tested each one.

This is Jeff with Supplement Warehouse again. Now I created another similar post on all the Hi-Tech Prohormones I have taken here, on Reddit, I wanted to also review all the Blackstone Labs prohormones I have taken over the past decade. I work in the industry, for over 15 years, so it has allowed me to test a lot of different types of supplements, including prohormones, out and see their effectiveness. I wanted to share my experience with you based on all the prohormones I have taken. And this time, with Blackstone Labs.

Blackstone Labs Chosen 1

This is a 1-andro prohormone I started taking before 1-Testosterone was released, or that I was aware was available. I am back to taking it now in 2025 due to 1-Testosterone being off the market currently. I never took Chosen 1 alone, I always stacked it with either Abnormal, Brutal 4ce or Superstrol 7. Chosen 1 was always excellent for cutting and for strength. Together with Superstrol 7 was one of the best cutting stacks I have ever taken. Only side effects were sore joints. I ran the cycle for 60 days always. Then jump on PCT-V for your PCT.

• Primary Compound: Chosen 1 is a 1-Androsterone (1-DHEA) based prohormone.

• 2025 Relevance: It serves as a viable alternative for users now that 1-Testosterone is currently off the market.

The main ingredient in this prohormone is epi-andro. This compound is amazing for cutting and getting your really ripped. Expect more muscle striations too. The added strength increases are nice as well. Don't expect a ton of lean muscle from it though. It's best for getting your physique in check. I don't believe I ever took this alone. I always took it along with Chosen 1 or some other 1-Testosterone prohormone. The two compounds just work so well together. For a couple spring cutting seasons, those are the two products I cycled for 60 days. And like the Chosen 1, Superstrol 7 did bring on some joint pain. Some users say a PCT isn't needed if taken along. I am conservative though and take a PCT like PCT-V no matter what.

This is probably the most popular Blackstone Labs product we sell here at Supplement Warehouse. Who doesn't love a good 4-andro standalone prohormone to cycle? Brutal 4ce is what I started out with before eventually moving to Sustanon 250. It is the perfect beginner 4-andro prohormone. Excellent for adding size and strength to your frame. Plus its great at increasing testosterone levels and your libido. Who doesn't want that? I used to stack it with Abnormal, which was also an amazing bulker, but much more dry. Now because it is a 4-andro, we do recommend having an anti-estrogen on hand. Best would be Blackstone Labs Eradicate. But only take it if needed. Or if you are really concerned, start with just 1 tablet per day instead of 2. The things to look out for are bloating, acne, moodiness, puffy/ichy nipples. Otherwise save it for another cycle. I would run Brutal 4ce for 60 days. And a PCT is needed just like the other prohormones. Go with PCT-V from Blackstone Labs.

• Main Compound: A 4-Androsterone (4-DHEA) standalone prohormone.

• Target User: Considered the "perfect beginner 4-andro prohormone."

• Primary Benefits:

  • Excellent for adding size and strength (bulking).

  • Great at increasing testosterone levels and libido.

• User History: The user started their prohormone journey with Brutal 4ce before progressing to Sustanon 250.

• Stacking Partner: The user frequently stacked it with Abnormal (a 19-NorAndro compound).

• Stacking Outcome: This combination was an "amazing bulker" but noted that Abnormal made the overall cycle "much more dry."

• Compound Risk: Because it is a 4-andro, it converts to testosterone and can then aromatize into estrogen.

• Mandatory Precaution: The user/retailer recommends having an anti-estrogen (AI) on hand.

• Recommended AI: Blackstone Labs Eradicate.

• AI Protocol (Use Only If Needed):

  • Monitor Symptoms: Only take the AI if experiencing estrogen-related side effects.

This prohormone was my first intro into 19 Nor-Andro. This is probably my favorite compound for size and strength next to 4-andro. It's just an awesome prohormone for DRY size and strength. No issues with estrogen either, which is great, especially for beginners. Now you might have read about libido issues with some of the 19 Nor Andros. This is almost always because of higher doses of 19Nor, like what's in Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Deca-Durabolin. Now Abnormal is lower dosed and I never had an issue with libido problems. But if you do have concerns, always stack it with something like Brutal 4ce or Sustanon 250, which convert to testosterone, which will help with libido problems. I always did, just because they work so well together on a bulking cycle. Now if you do take a 19 Nor Andro alone, no need to an anti-estrogen. Just run it 60 days, and then follow it up with 30 days on PCT-V. But again, I would stack it with Brutal 4ce.

• Primary Goal: Dry Size & Strength

• Dry Gains: Excellent for adding muscle mass without water retention ("dry size").

• Strength: Rated highly for strength increases, comparable to 4-Andro.

• Estrogen Control: Does not aromatize, meaning there are no estrogen-related side effects.

• Beginner Friendly: Due to the lack of estrogen issues, it is considered a safer entry point for beginners.

• The Concern: 19-Nor compounds are historically associated with libido drops (often called "Deca Dick").

• The Reality with Abnormal: The user reports no libido issues with this specific product because it is dosed lower than stronger alternatives (like Hi-Tech Deca-Durabolin).

• The Fix: If you are prone to libido issues or want to be safe, the user recommends stacking it with a "Test Base" (a compound that converts to testosterone).

• Best Pairings: Brutal 4ce or Sustanon 250.

• Why Stack?: These compounds convert to testosterone, which helps maintain libido and enhances the overall bulking effect.

• Cycle Length: Run for 60 Days.

• Support: If running solo, no anti-estrogen is required.

• PCT (Post Cycle Therapy): Follow the cycle immediately with 30 days of PCT-V.

I have saved the best for last. This is the daddy of all the prohormones from Blackstone Labs. This is a 4-in-1 product that has Androsterone, 1-andro and 4-andro...along with Arimistane. An absolute powerhouse. The first time I took this, I didn't stack it with anything. It was more than enough. I got some good dry size and strength over 60 days from it. I would consider it a bulking prohormone due to the Androsterone and 4-andro, but the 1-andro and Arimistane kept you really dry too. Just an excellent combination of compounds.

Now the second time I took it, I ended up stacking it with Abnormal. This gave me 4 total prohormones along with Arimistane. I saw even more size and pounds on my frame from that stack. If you wanted to take it one step further, you could run Superstrol-7 along with it, which would help more with cutting and striations too. That would be an absolute crazy stack! Either way, only run it for 60 days, and definitely take a PCT supplement such as PCT-V after your cycle is completed.

Final Thoughts

And there you have it! My review of every Blackstone Labs prohormone I have taken. While I believe Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals prohormones are still the best when it comes to this category of supplements, Metha-Quad is something I would recommend trying over many of the Hi-Tech prohormones available.
