Now Foods Ultra Omega 3 Fish Oil contains both docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and is essential in preventing and managing heart disease. Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to help aid in lowering blood pressure, reducing triglycerides, slowing the development of plaque in the arteries, reducing the chance of abnormal heart rhythm, reducing the likelihood of heart attack and stroke, and lessening the chance of sudden cardia death in people with heart disease. EPA is the most important of the omega-3 fatty acids to reduce cellular inflammation and is key for reducing neuro-inflammation.
